SSF alumnus Ron Heginbotham headed north from Key West, FL to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. As a resident, he lived in the Selby III Scholarship House while pursuing a degree in accounting, and an MBA. Post-graduation, Ron traveled the globe as he worked and lived in Arkansas, the United Kingdom, Houston, Boston, and Anchorage, to name a few places. He was a CPA, served in the United States Airforce and helped provide energy to the world through his work at BP (British Petroleum) in Alaska and Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia. Today, Ron lives in Edgewood, KY and reflects on his time in the Foundation, “SSF helped me acquire the intellectual tools which allowed me to help develop petroleum energy resources.”
