Kimberly Galbán-Countryman, Director of Development
Kimberly Galbán-Countryman is the Director of Development and newest member of the Southern Scholarship Foundation team.
Kimberly has worked in the nonprofit sector since 1993, most recently as the Executive Director of United Partners for Human Services. Prior to this, she helped establish The Family C.A.F.E., a disability organization, at first as a founding board member and then as its Chief Operations Officer where she served for eleven years. She has volunteered on several local nonprofit Boards of Directors including the Florida Alliance for Assistive Services and Technology and Kids Incorporated, is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee Class 27 and Founding Member of Oasis Center for Women & Girls. Kimberly has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Florida State University’s Askew School of Public Administration and Policy and is currently helping the school develop curriculum for a Certified Nonprofit Manager program.
In her spare time, she enjoys coaching soccer and softball, volunteering at her kids’ school, and spending time hanging out with her husband, Jeremy, and their three kids, Sydney, Alex and Jude.
